Cluster Q is Columbia Business School’s LGBT Business Association and is an open and welcoming community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer students, faculty members, and administrators. Cluster Q’s membership is one of the largest and most diverse LGBT groups among the world’s top business schools and also boast the largest representation of straight allies among all business schools.
Cluster Q offers its members powerful networking opportunities and an extensive LGBT community, in addition to a variety of social and professional events. In addition to Cluster Q’s strong connections to their alumni network and top recruiters, Cluster Q also works actively with the Office of Admissions to host events for prospective LGBT business school students.
Diversity Matters, an annual afternoon event highlighting diversity and inclusion at Columbia Business School, will be hosted in conjunction with the Black Business Students Association, Columbia Women in Business, Cluster Q, the Hispanic Business Association, and the Military in Business Association this fall.
Together with the Office of Admissions, Cluster Q will also hold a specific event this fall, for prospective students interested in learning more about joining the Columbia Business School Cluster Q community. Spotlight On: Cluster Q will provide insight into LGBT life at Columbia Business School and allow prospective students to hear about the student experience and connect with Cluster Q leadership and the Admissions Office.
