Career Management Center
The Career Management Center (CMC) and its team of professionals serve as a key consultant to students in the career management process, whether they are looking to accelerate within their current organizations or wish to change careers. The CMC accomplishes this goal by offering students access to career resources and networking opportunities. Ultimately, the CMC is designed to teach students lifelong career management skills that will assist them throughout their professional lives. The CMC does not “get jobs” for students but rather advises EMBAs on developing the most effective career management strategy possible based on their individual goals.
All currently enrolled EMBA students may access the CMC’s wide array of resources, which include:
- Virtual and in-person one-on-one career advising/coaching sessions
- Webinars
- Extensive web-based multi-media resources for career mobility (including self-assessment, conducting industry & company research, marketing yourself, networking, interviewing, and managing offers) and professional development topics such as Managing Conflict at Work, Building Impactful Presentations and Executive Presence
- Student and alumni networking database
- Job posting database for potential employers
- Online resume database
- Campus recruiting (for students who qualify) focused on entry-level (associate) MBA jobs
