Accommodations
Columbia has negotiated special rates with a number of hotels for use by Columbia students traveling on University business. “University business” is defined as air travel and transportation directly relating to commuting to and from classes and hotel accommodations for students staying in Manhattan to attend classes. These rates are not available for any other travel purpose but do apply to students traveling to New York for EMBA sessions.
For more information on participating hotels, rates, and booking information, please see the Columbia University Travel Portal.
The Columbia University Club of New York
Located at 15 West 43rd Street in the heart of midtown Manhattan, the Columbia Club offers membership to alumni from all divisions of Columbia University (including Barnard and Teachers College), as well as all current Columbia faculty, administrators and graduate students.
Membership benefits include the ability to book overnight accommodations at the club facilities. To learn more about the Columbia Club, please visit Columbia University Club website.
Long-Term Housing Options
The Columbia University Off-Campus Housing Office (OCHA) assists students and affiliates in searching for rental housing in the NYC area. OCHA manages a database known as the Housing Registry which includes available rooms and apartments in non-Columbia-owned buildings and sublets of units in Columbia-managed housing. For more information, and to view the Housing Registry, please visit the Columbia University Off-Campus Housing Office website.
